I got my M8800 in March '09 from the Orange shop in town, first 3 months not a problem, very good phone.
About 4-5 weeks ago the touchscreen software crashed, I phoned Orange Care and had the handset replaced within 24 hours. Yesterday the touchscreen on the 'new' phone crashed yet again. Rang Orange Care again and had another phone delivered about an hour ago. Low and behold it is a DOA, nothing works; not the touchscreen or the button....GRRRRRRR
Luckily both times I was able to copy all the data off my phone to the mini SD card and to the computer with PC Studio.
Been on hold now for nearly half an hour and I have now arranged for another M8800 to be delivered tomorrow.
Fingers crossed this one will keep working........
Is Samsung going to have a look into this obvious recurring problem and provide with a firmware update or something?
